Winter White Strikes Again

Sorry I didn’t post my Friday pick. Things have been a little nutty here in lil ol’ Rhody with Sandy coming and all. But I’m thinking once Sandy hits us and leaves, Old Man Winter is right behind her and what better way to prepare for it than wearing this great winter white jacket from White House Black Market. I really like how this jacket can be worn with or without a belt. I’m not usually a fan of belts, but more and more jackets are being designed with them and I’m learning to embrace them.

Dresses…Love ’em or hate ’em?

I never used to be a fan of dresses but now that they are being made with materials that are comfortable for all day wear and the fact that they have become day to night appropriate, has completely changed my mind about them. Thursday’s pick from White House Black Market is this great 3/4 Sleeve Sparkle Stripe Knit Dress. I know we talked stripes the other and today it’s dresses, so what better way to combine the two! Throw on a wide belt, black tights and knee high boots and you have a fabulous outfit for work and dinner later that night.

Turn heads with RED

Oh Wednesdays….middle of the week, anxiously awaiting for the weekend to come and being in a need of a serious pick me up. How many of us feel this way? I know I do. A great way to perk ourselves up is to wear a fun, fierce color to the office ~red. Red is a statement color and can make you feel like a different person. Today for my mid-week pick from White House Black Market  are these hot red Cardinal Mod Jean (our-of-the-moment- slim). Throw on a pair of knee high boots and a blazer and you are good to go from day to night. This outfit is SO.ME.

Stripes, stripes and more stripes

Stripes, they are everywhere and don’t be afraid to wear them ladies! My Tuesday choice for my favorite White House Black Market look is this striped button detail turtleneck paired with black skinny jeans and black high boots. I have such a weakness for leggings/skinny jeans and boots. I could seriously live in them EVERY SINGLE DAY! Hope I’m not alone on this one?!
